Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
Silver Team Leader Young Living Essential Oils
Product Educator & Independent Distributor #1448541

In 2010, I became a double heart bypass survivor of the “Widow Maker” at 43 years old. My mission is to use the 2ND CHANCE that God has granted me to “pay it forward” and EDUCATE, EQUIP and EMPOWER others to take charge of their lives and health.

2ndChanceLiving is not a tag line…it is a WAY OF LIFE! It is a Health Ministry. Every single day is a second chance to show up for you and your health. We have all lived a second chance moment in one area of life or another. Think about it…was it in your health, restored health of your child or a loved one, your marriage, faith walk, etc…? For me it was all the above. Thus, it is why every day I am 2ndChanceLiving ~ from the moment my feet hit the floor, until I fall asleep at night. Are you 2ndChanceLiving today?

Finding life balance and creating wellness, purpose and abundance in all areas of life is what I strive to pour into others and myself ~ Physical health, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial health. Career, family, relationships…all while keeping Christ at the center. I want you on the journey with me.

new-2nd-Chance-Living-logo-green-pulse-black-fontI am a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I have a B.S. degree in Physical Education and Fitness and hold a certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as an Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health and Wellness Coach. The Institute for Integrative Nutrition has allowed me the opportunity to receive a greater understanding and knowledge of health and nutrition today.

Don’t let a diagnosis define you or limit you. As a trained professional guide and mentor, I empower individuals to take responsibility for their health and supports them in making sustainable lifestyle choices. As a survivor of the Widow Maker, double bypass heart, and depression, I have a gift of understanding and reaching people in a unique way.

I provide education and support in one-on-one or group settings. I am skilled at helping you to define small, achievable goals; that will help you to attain results and then set larger goals. Success comes one step at a time!

As a Health Coach, I get to help others develop a deeper understanding of their food and lifestyle choices while educating them on integrating Young Living Essential Oils into their daily lives to support their overall health through Chemical Free Living.

I educate and support my growing Young Living Essential Oils organization on holistic health and living a chemical free lifestyle. Together we incorporate SEED TO SEAL guaranteed industry leading products into our daily lives to support our total body health and wellness.

The average person applies 300 chemicals to their body every single day, and 80 of those chemicals are before breakfast. Most are from four things: soap, makeup, shampoo and hair care. The biggest pollutants in our home are fabric softener, dryer sheets, air freshener plug-ins, and candles. You are literally poisoning your family every day with the stuff that you can’t pronounce in your home, like your bright blue dish soap, the cleaner you use for your kitchen counters, processed foods and more. Health and safety data only exists for 15 percent of all the chemicals out there, even though so many are known to cause asthma or endocrine disruptions.

Essential Oils are a better way. They are totally chemical free, steam distilled or cold pressed from pure plants. There’s nothing in them but that one oil, whether it is lemon, tangerine, lavender, peppermint, or others. There are over a million uses for essential oils—cleaning supplies, personal care products like toothpaste and deodorant, in a diffuser, oil-infused nutritional supplements. Come to my classes that costs you nothing to learn how to kick the chemicals in your home to the curb. It’s easy, simple, and it’s a small change you can make to protect your family and take charge of what’s in your house.

I am available to come to your location and hold an Essential Oils 101 class or specialty class. You can give a man a fish and he can eat for a meal, but if you TEACH him how to fish, he will eat for a lifetime. That is my goal in helping others…life changes, for life.

I am using my second chance to take my calling of Health Ministry to increase the ripple effect for wellness, purpose and abundance in all areas of life.

I am available for one-on-one coaching sessions, group coaching, workshops and public speaking engagements. Some of my workshops include, but are not limited to:

  • Self-Care Practices
  • Living a Chemical Free Lifestyle
  • Sugar Blues
  • Heart Health and the effects of sugar
  • Emotional Eating
  • Emotional Support and Trauma Release with Essential Oils
  • Emotional Health and the role it plays in your physical health
  • Spiritual Warfare and ways it shows up in our life and manifests into our decline in health

Let’s get the conversation started. It could be the one conversation that changes EVERYTHING! I want you to get PLUGGED IN! Together we can all UPGRADE our lives and reach our HIGHEST POTENTIAL. I will be here every step of the way!

As a 200HR Registered Yoga Teacher, with a specialization in Trauma-Informed Yoga, and a certified Zumba® Instructor, Colleen creates a nurturing environment where individuals stretch themselves beyond the seemingly impossible, utilize creative energies to explore moving their bodies in space, and ultimately become inspired to passionately follow their dreams while building a balanced, healthy and fulfilled self.

After graduating from Northwestern University, Colleen embraced the world of endurance running. She has run several marathons and in 2011, Colleen ran from St. Louis to New York City to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis.

In 2013, Colleen immersed herself in yoga and noticed a significant difference in her day-to-day happiness. Suddenly, she was able to use yoga, pranayama and meditation to lower her stress, maintain perspective and instill a true sense of peace and balance in her life. This transformation was so powerful that it inspired her to become a yoga teacher.  With a specialization in Trauma-Informed Yoga (training by Zabie Yamasaki), Colleen takes special considerations to create a safe space which includes empowerment-based language, integration of choices, and no physical assists.  Her yoga classes blend movement, breath, thematic exploration, yogic philosophy and affirmations.  Colleen is committed to creating an environment where all participants, no matter what trauma they have experienced in the past, can feel safe and empowered to practice yoga in the manner that will most nourish their minds, bodies, and spirits.

Since she was little, Colleen has loved to dance. For ten years, she studied ballet, jazz and musical theatre dance. Colleen was thrilled when she found Zumba – the perfect combination of dance, strength and cardio fitness. Zumba is for EVERYONE – all ages, abilities and sizes.

Colleen also holds certifications in Primary Group Exercise (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), Personal Training (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and Ballroom Dance (Dancing Classrooms). She is ecstatic to share the joy and clarity that yoga and dance have brought to her life with the Windmill Wellness Center community! Colleen also teaches Yoga, Zumba and Ballroom Dance at Washington University, St. Louis University, Empowered Spaces, Joy of Yoga, Blue Sky Yoga, The Center of Clayton, and various elementary schools in partnership with St. Louis Dancing Classrooms.
